agricultural policy is part of national economic policy, and seems to have very little to do with sustainability, nutrition, or local economies. This is bullshit.

I've joined the Organic Consumers Association and the Sustainable Agriculture Coalition. Really, I just read their newsletters, but it feels like membership.

Brinkley and I now eat rougly 75% of our food from local producers. We would do more, but the local yogurt tastes like shit, it is not berry season, and citrus doesn't grow in Virginia or Maryland. These are important issues, PC. I'm glad you are paying attention.
